In this role, you will create a vibrant classroom atmosphere that promotes growth, curiosity, and a love for learning. You will be responsible for implementing developmentally appropriate curricula, fostering positive behavior, and supporting the overall well-being of children from diverse backgrounds. Your energetic approach will help lay a strong foundation for children's academic and social success, preparing them for future educational milestones. Duties Implement comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning. Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and active participation. Manage daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, classroom management, behavior management strategies, and assessment of student progress through standardized testing and formative evaluations. Collaborate with families to support children's development through regular communication, parent conferences, and family engagement activities. Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques to support children with diverse learning needs. Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental milestones, and instructional assessments in compliance with program requirements. Foster teamwork among staff members by participating in ongoing professional development focused on childhood development, Montessori methods, or other educational philosophies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field; additional certifications in special education or Montessori teaching are preferred. Proven classroom experience working with preschool-aged children in daycare, private school settings, or Head Start programs. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and curriculum development. Experience with literacy education, math instruction including standardized testing preparation, and teaching physical education activities. Familiarity with early intervention practices and working with children who have special needs or require additional support. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, colleagues, and community partners. Ability to manage classroom dynamics efficiently while maintaining a nurturing environment that promotes child welfare.
