Lead Teacher Preschool & Summer Camp (Ages 26) ASP!

Everglades Academy is looking to hire a Preschool Teacher for our 2&3-Year-Old Classroom as soon as possible. This position is available for candidates seeking: A temporary Summer position, or A long-term, year-round position We are looking for someone who is caring, energetic, dependable, and passionate about working with young children. The ideal candidate enjoys creating engaging learning experiences while maintaining a safe, nurturing, and structured classroom environment.

Responsibilities:

Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and lessons. Lead circle time, small group activities, arts and crafts, literacy, and hands-on learning experiences. Supervise children throughout the day, including playground time, meals, and nap time. Support children's social, emotional, and academic development. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment. Communicate professionally with parents and staff. Complete daily reports and classroom documentation. Assist with potty training and other daily care routines as needed.

Qualifications:

Experience working with children ages 3-5 preferred. Knowledge of classroom management and child development. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Strong communication and organizational skills. DCF 45-Hour Child Care Training preferred. CPR/First Aid Certification preferred. Level 2 Background Screening preferred.
