The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. This role requires a deep understanding of childhood development principles and the ability to engage with children in a meaningful way. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Monitor and assess each child's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed. Utilize effective behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions among students. Collaborate with other educators and staff to support the diverse needs of all students, including those with special education requirements. Maintain a clean, organized classroom space that is conducive to learning. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in early childhood education. Qualifications Certified on DCF 45 hours and CPR. Full Time Work Permit on USA A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices. Experience working with young children in a classroom setting is highly desirable. Skills in behavior management and caregiving techniques are essential. First aid certification is a plus. Previous experience in babysitting, nannying, or infant care will be considered an asset. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to various learning styles and developmental stages.
