3-Year-Old Preschool Teacher Presidential Learning Center LLC Jacksonville, FL Job Details Full-time $16 - $18 an hour 21 hours ago Qualifications Spanish CPR Certification English First Aid Certification Classroom experience Full Job Description Job Overview Presidential Learning Center is seeking a passionate, nurturing, and energetic Preschool Teacher for our 3-year-old classroom. The ideal candidate must love working with young children, maintain a safe and engaging learning environment, and support the social, emotional, and educational growth of every child. This teacher will help prepare students for future academic success through hands-on learning, structure, creativity, and positive classroom management. Qualifications Must have a minimum of 45 DCF hours completed CDA (Child Development Associate) preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Previous experience working in a preschool or childcare setting preferred Must meet all DCF background screening requirements CPR/First Aid Certification preferred or willingness to obtain Strong communication and classroom management skills Must be dependable, professional, and team-oriented Responsibilities Create and maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and classroom activities Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Always supervise children and maintain proper classroom ratios Conduct daily classroom routines including meals, centers, outdoor play, and nap time Communicate professionally with parents regarding student progress and behavior Maintain accurate attendance, incident reports, and classroom documentation Ensure compliance with all DCF and center policies and procedures Work collaboratively with administration and fellow teachers Encourage positive behavior and use developmentally appropriate discipline techniques Skills & Characteristics Patient, caring, and nurturing personality Strong leadership and classroom management abilities Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and professional appearance Passion for early childhood education and child development
Schedule Full-Time Monday-Friday Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
