Lead PreSchool Teacher Work Schedule:

M-F, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, 10 month position

Salary:

$18.46 / hour+ with an Associates Degree. $24.27 /hour+ with a Bachelors Degree.

Responsible for overall classroom operations including: planning, carrying out activities, maintaining the classroom environment and ratios, supervising children, home visits, parent/teacher conferences and supervision of classroom volunteers

Qualifications:

Minimum Associate or Bachelor degree in early childhood education or child development AND three (3) years of classroom experience working with young children required (preschool age preferred); OR Minimum of an Associate or Bachelor degree in a related field and coursework equivalent to a major relating to early childhood education with experience teaching preschool-age children Child care training (Parts

I & II - 40

hours) requirement pursuant to Chapter 65C-22 5 Hour VPK Emergent Literacy Course as required by DCF Must pass physical and Department of Children and Families background screening requirements Must have current First-Aid/Pediatric CPR certification Safe Sleep/Shaken Baby Syndrome training required by DCF to complete at Orientation/within 30 days of hire Must have access to dependable transportation with current liability insurance and a valid driver's license Suwannee Valley 4Cs is the Head Start and Early Head Start grantee in Columbia, Hamilton, Lafayette and Suwannee counties.
