Teacher Planning Day:

June 5th 5.0 Hours for Teachers Total of 25 days; 6/8-6/11; 6/15-6/18; 6/22-6/25; 6/29-7/2; 7/6-7/9; 7/13-7/16; 7/20 4.5 Instructional Hours for Students The student hours will be 7:30 am - 12:00 pm (6/8-7/20/2026) Students will participate Monday - Thursday

PROGRAM SUMMARY A

state-required Summer Bridge Program will be provided by school districts to eligible students who completed a school-year Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) program from private and public providers prior to enrollment in kindergarten. Eligible students must have obtained a score below the 25th percentile on the PM 3 window of the

VPK FAST.

The Summer Bridge Program will have an emphasis on emergent literacy instruction grounded in the science of reading.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Florida educator certificate in Elementary Education K-6 Florida educator certificate in Pre-Kindergarten/Primary Education PK-3 Valid Child Development Associate Credential (CDA)
