In this versatile role, you will serve as a flexible classroom assistant, providing essential support across multiple preschool classrooms. Your energetic and nurturing approach will help create a positive learning environment where young children can thrive. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities, lesson implementation, and curriculum delivery, including areas such as literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Support classroom management by engaging children in age-appropriate activities that promote social-emotional growth and positive behavior management. Provide care and supervision for children during various activities, including playtime, snack time, rest periods, and outdoor activities such as toddler care and early intervention exercises. Help prepare teaching materials, organize classroom spaces, and ensure all supplies are ready for daily lessons. Collaborate with teachers to monitor individual student progress, especially in areas like childhood development and special education needs. Maintain open communication with parents and staff regarding children's welfare, progress, and any behavioral or developmental concerns. Uphold all safety protocols related to childcare, child welfare standards, and daycare regulations to ensure a secure environment for every child. Skills Strong understanding of early childhood education principles including curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management. Experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings; familiarity with toddler care and behavior management techniques. Knowledge of special education strategies and early intervention practices to support diverse learning needs. Proficiency in literacy education, math instruction, and teaching physical education tailored for young learners. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and team members. Must have the ability to change diapers. Maintain the school clean & ability to be mobile. Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments as a preschool floater while maintaining professionalism. Familiarity with Montessori methods or standardized testing procedures is a plus for supporting varied instructional approaches.
