Job Description

KinderCare is seeking a Childcare Teacher for Lake Sybelia Elementary to deliver high-quality before- and after-school care. In this role, you'll create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom where elementary-age children can learn, play, and grow. You'll design developmentally appropriate activities, support social-emotional skills, and maintain strong communication with families and school staff. Working within KinderCare's inclusive, growth-focused culture, you'll have opportunities for training, career advancement, and to make a meaningful impact on children's lives every day. Responsibilities Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment for elementary-age children. Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons and activities aligned with school and Kinder Care standards. Supervise children at all times, ensuring health, safety, and positive behavior. Communicate regularly with families about children's progress, behavior, and classroom activities. Collaborate with school staff and Kinder Care colleagues to support learning goals and enrichment programs. Observe, document, and report on children's developmental milestones and needs. Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and compliance with licensing and safety regulations. Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance teaching practices.
