In this energetic position, you will facilitate fun and educational activities, supervise children during various programs, and foster positive relationships with parents and guardians. Duties Supervise children during scheduled activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social interaction for toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Provide attentive care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed Engage children in structured play, educational games, arts and crafts, and physical activities to support childhood development Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, behavior, or any concerns Follow mandated reporting laws by recognizing signs of child abuse or neglect and reporting appropriately Maintain a clean, organized activity space that adheres to health and safety standards Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; ongoing training is encouraged Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus Strong communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with energy, patience, and enthusiasm Familiarity with early childhood education practices and classroom experience is advantageous Must be reliable, responsible, and committed to creating a positive environment for children Join us to inspire young minds through engaging activities while building your career in childcare!
