Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate, nurturing, and faith-driven teacher to join our Christian preschool team. We are hiring both VPK Teachers and Preschool Teachers to inspire young learners and foster their early childhood development. In this vital role, you will create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and growth while intergrating biblical principals into daily learning. Your enthusiasm for early education will help children develop essential skills in literacy, math, and social-emotional learning. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while working in a dynamic, supportive setting dedicated to excellence in early childhood education. Duties Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans tailored to the developmental needs of preschool children. Incorporate Christian values and Bible-based teachings into the cirriculum. Foster a loving, Christ-centered classroom environment. Facilitate hands-on activities that promote literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional growth. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement strategies and behavior management techniques. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that complies with all health and safety regulations. Conduct regular assessments of student progress using standardized testing methods and document developmental milestones. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and fellow educators to ensure each child's welfare and academic success are prioritized. Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management within preschool settings. Proficiency in working with children of diverse backgrounds, including those requiring special education or early intervention services. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Ability to implement behavior management strategies that foster positive classroom environments. Knowledge of standardized testing procedures related to early childhood assessment tools. Experience in teaching physical education activities suitable for young children's motor skill development. Qualifications A personal commitment to Christian faith and ability to model it daily. Experience working with ages two, three, or VPK children. DCF Training (45 hours) & maintain ongoing professional development. VPK Teacher's will have to meet certain requirements such as DCF training, CDA, and ongoing professional development.
