Duties Supervise and care for children in a safe, secure environment during overnight hours, ensuring their physical and emotional safety at all times Implement age-appropriate curriculum development activities that promote early childhood education, literacy, math skills, and social-emotional growth Manage classroom routines and behavior management strategies to foster positive interactions and maintain a calm learning atmosphere Prepare and organize lesson plans focused on preschool development milestones, including Montessori methods and sensory activities Support children with special education needs through early intervention techniques and individualized attention Facilitate engaging activities that incorporate physical education, arts & crafts, storytelling, and play-based learning to stimulate curiosity and development Document children's progress through assessments aligned with standardized testing where applicable; communicate effectively with parents or guardians about their child's growth and welfare Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and early intervention strategies Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings; familiarity with toddler care and preschool experience preferred Excellent communication skills to collaborate with parents, colleagues, and specialists in special education or child welfare fields Ability to develop creative lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, and Montessori methods Proficiency in behavior management techniques to support positive behavior and social skills among young children Knowledge of classroom experience with standardized testing procedures and tutoring methods suitable for preschoolers Familiarity with teaching physical education activities and implementing inclusive practices for diverse learners This role is ideal for passionate educators committed to early childhood education who thrive working during overnight shifts.
