Job Description
Job Summary Learning Cove Academy is seeking a warm, dependable, and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to lead a small class (average 5 students) of 4 year olds. We are looking for a teacher who enjoys making learning fun through hands-on activities, movement, real-world experiences, and age-appropriate academics. The ideal candidate will have strong classroom management skills, be patient and engaging, and be comfortable teaching early reading, math, science, and social skills through interactive learning. Our small-class environment allows teachers to get to know each child and provide individualized support while encouraging independence, responsibility, and a love of learning. Requirements Proven experience working with young children in preschool or daycare settings. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies. Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques. Familiarity with special education needs and behavior management strategies tailored for preschoolers. Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; ongoing professional development in early childhood education is preferred. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Ability to adhere to mandated reporting laws and uphold child safety standards at all times.
