Your Role As a Lead Preschool Teacher, you'll create a classroom where children feel safe, confident, challenged, and excited to learn. You'll build strong relationships with families, mentor assistant teachers, and create meaningful learning experiences that prepare children for kindergarten and for life. Responsibilities Create a warm, engaging, and organized classroom environment. Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and learning activities. Foster children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Build trusting relationships with children and families. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming classroom. Guide assistant teachers through positive coaching and teamwork. Observe and document children's developmental progress. Communicate professionally with parents regarding milestones and classroom activities. Follow all licensing, health, and safety requirements. Work collaboratively with Team Leads and school leadership. Model professionalism, positivity, and continuous growth. We're Looking For Someone Who... Truly enjoys working with young children. Qualifications Preferred qualifications include:
CDA, FCCPC, or Early Childhood Education degree Preschool classroom experience Knowledge of child development Strong classroom management skills Excellent communication and organizational skills CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain) Ability to meet all Florida licensing and Level 2 Background Screening requirements Benefits We value the people who care for our children.
