Preschool Teacher and Director

07/12/2026 Holy Family Catholic School in North Miami, Florida is looking to hire a full-time Preschool Teacher and Director to teach in and oversee the daily operations of our preschool, acting as a role model for our staff while ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for children. This person will be responsible for staff management, curriculum development, assisting with operations and ensuring compliance with state regulations. The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.
Responsibilities include:
Implement curriculum that meets the needs of the students and adheres to state and ADOM national standards. Supervise and evaluate staff performance, training, and disciplinary actions. Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety requirements, and other relevant laws. Develop and maintain relationships with parents and provide ongoing communication about their children's progress.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; Master's in Early Childhood or Educational Leadership preferred. Current Director credential or Educational Leadership Certification. Must obtain catechetical certification from the Archdiocese of Miami Office of Catechesis within three years of hire. Minimum 2 years' experience as a lead teacher or director working with children in the preschool age group. Must establish a regular meeting schedule with staff persons. Required to attend monthly check-ins with the Office of Catholic Schools. Knowledge of current early childhood education best practices. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. Current CPR and First Aid certification. Must have a professional demeanor, including adherence to dress code.
