Job Description

The Music and Movement Enrichment teacher is responsible for implementing our new enrichment curriculum in the classrooms. Our program allows the children time to sing songs, do movement with their bodies, and using instruments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensures that enrichment schedule is being followed each day Works with children of all ages; from infants up to 5 year olds. Attends and participates in staff meetings, academy events, and parent meetings as requested Helps and supervises children during enrichment activities Counsels children when social, academic, or adjustment problems arise Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be at least 21 years old Must possess a CDA or higher in Early childhood education with 45 hours training in Early Childhood Education/Child Development Must meet all requirements stipulated by the state for this position Classroom teaching experience in an accredited early childhood facility a plus Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality Highly professional and dependable Must be able to interact appropriately with students of all ages and skill levels as well as with parents, coworkers, and management Enjoy music and/or movement activities (ie yoga, dancing, etc)

MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL TO FOUR OF OUR LOCATIONS

Work Location This is a multi-location position , with responsibilities shared among four Amazing Explorers Academy preschool locations. The teacher will report to ONE assigned preschool location per workday. They will not be required to visit or work at multiple locations during the same day.
