Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Teacher/Floater to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote early childhood development and learning. Support classroom management by supervising children during play, meals, naps, and transitions to ensure safety and engagement. Provide individualized attention to children with special needs or disabilities, following prescribed plans and accommodations. Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity. Communicate effectively with parents about daily activities, progress, and any concerns regarding their child's well-being. Support emergency procedures by being trained in pediatric first aid and CPR, ready to respond swiftly if needed. Collaborate with team members to plan events, assessments, and developmental milestones tracking. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices. Certification in first aid and CPR (pediatric first aid certification is a plus). Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is advantageous. Strong classroom management skills combined with the ability to adapt quickly as a floater across different classrooms. Excellent communication skills for parent interactions and team collaboration. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare. Child supervision skills combined with patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for nurturing young learners.
