This full-time position is ideal for an educator who thrives in a dynamic classroom environment and enjoys supporting children, teachers, and families throughout the day. Our Floater Teachers play a vital role in maintaining a positive, nurturing, and engaging learning environment while supporting multiple classrooms with a primary focus on our two-year-old program. Candidates should be passionate about early childhood education, flexible, team-oriented, and committed to helping children learn through exploration, creativity, and play. Responsibilities Support classroom teachers with daily routines and transitions Maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment Engage children in age-appropriate learning activities and play Assist with diapering, potty training, meals, and nap supervision Promote positive behavior guidance and social-emotional development Communicate professionally with families and team members Follow all Florida licensing regulations and Kiddie Academy policies Step into classrooms as needed to maintain ratio compliance and continuity of care Qualifications Experience working with toddlers or young children preferred High school diploma or equivalent required Completion of Florida DCF training requirements or willingness to obtain upon hire CDA or early childhood coursework preferred Strong communication and classroom management skills Ability to multitask and adapt throughout the school day Must be reliable, professional, and team-focused What We Offer Supportive leadership team Positive and collaborative work environment Opportunities for professional growth and advancement Competitive pay based on experience Full-time, stable schedule The opportunity to make a lasting impact in the lives of young children Join a school community dedicated to creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment where children can grow socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually.
