Job Description

Join Our Team as a Teacher! Ladybird Academy of Winter Springs is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and credentialed Teacher to join our dedicated team of early childhood educators. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about teaching, committed to student success, and excited to help prepare young learners for kindergarten and beyond. At Ladybird Academy, we believe in providing a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment where children can develop academically, socially, and emotionally. Responsibilities Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with Florida VPK standards Create a positive, engaging, and structured classroom environment Assess and monitor student progress and maintain required documentation Foster children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress and classroom activities Maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment Collaborate with administration and fellow educators to support student success Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities Qualifications CDA with Endorsements required Florida DCF 45-Hour Child Care Training completed Current CPR and First Aid Certification Previous experience in childcare, preschool, VPK, or early childhood education Strong classroom management and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Passion for educating and inspiring young children Positive attitude, patience, and professionalism Work Environment & Physical Requirements Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment Commitment to making children's needs the primary focus Must embrace the role of educator and support Ladybird Academy's mission of preparing children for future academic success Ability to kneel, squat, bend, stoop, crawl, push, pull, and lift as needed Ability to actively participate in children's activities, including dancing, running, jumping, hopping, and outdoor play Schedule Monday through Friday No weekends Flexible availability between 6:30 AM and 6:30 PM Overtime opportunities may be available Why Join Ladybird Academy?
