Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners during their foundational years. In this role, you will create a warm, engaging classroom environment that promotes early childhood development, literacy, social skills, and curiosity. Your enthusiasm for teaching and dedication to child welfare will help shape a positive learning experience for every student. You will plan and implement age-appropriate lessons, manage classroom activities, and collaborate with families to support each child's growth. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that incorporate early intervention strategies, literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods where applicable. Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction among children. Manage daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, behavior management, and transition routines to ensure smooth operation. Assess individual student progress through observations, standardized testing where appropriate, and ongoing evaluations; adapt teaching methods accordingly. Support children's emotional well-being by promoting positive behavior management techniques and addressing individual needs in collaboration with specialists in special education or child welfare. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student development, milestones, and any concerns; foster strong partnerships to support each child's success. Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, lesson plans, and other documentation required for program compliance and continuous improvement. Experience Prior classroom experience working with children in daycare or private school settings is essential. Demonstrated expertise in early childhood education principles including childhood development theories and classroom management techniques. Experience developing curriculum content that includes literacy education, math skills, physical education, and toddler care practices. Familiarity with special education needs and early intervention approaches to support diverse learners. Proven ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and external specialists. Knowledge of standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood assessment is a plus.
