Job Overview About us We are a small family preschool inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach and seeking two full-time lead preschool teachers (a 2yo teacher and a 3yo teacher). Our preschool provides a warm, nurturing, safe, and loving environment where self concepts are enhanced, independence is encouraged, and individuality is respected. We have small classrooms with 4-9 student capacity. The ideal candidate will share our school's vision and hold strong morals and values. They will also have good communication skills, a creative spirit, a desire to grow, and an open mind. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality care and ensuring each child's individual social, emotional, and cognitive needs are met while promoting a love for learning.

Preschool Teacher Responsibilities:

Develop lesson plans that are creative and engaging while also aligning with Florida State standards and our school's vision. Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity. Monitor and assess children's progress, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and director to support child development and address any concerns. Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among children. Organize activities that promote physical education, social skills, and emotional well-being. Maintain a clean, organized classroom that reflects the children's work and interests. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Skills Strong background in Early Childhood Education with knowledge of curriculum development. Experience in or a eagerness to learn behavior management techniques tailored for preschool-aged children Familiarity with early intervention strategies to support children with diverse needs. Commitment to child welfare, ensuring the safety and well-being of all students. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues. Passion for fostering a love of learning through creative play and structured activities.
