Part Time Summer Camp Preschool Teacher

Job Summary First Baptist Church Panama City is currently hiring preschool teachers for First Baptist Early Learning Center. We are seeking experienced, energetic, compassionate, and dedicated teachers for our faith-based program. You must be able to provide a safe, loving environment for children and care for their physical needs. We are seeking candidates who are committed to creating a positive, Christ-centered learning environment that prepares children to enter Kindergarten. In addition, you must be able to maintain a classroom and implement age and developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities for children. First Baptist Daycare Learning Center is open from 6:45 am until 5:30 pm Monday through Friday. This position is for a part time Summer Camp Teacher. Duties

• Implement provided curriculum that meets the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of each child.
• Conduct provided activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of the children.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom conducive to learning.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's needs and progress.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom. Requirements 18 years or older High School Diploma or GED Employees must have completed or willing to complete 40 hours of online child care training. Posses or be willing to earn a CDA or Florida Staff Credential. Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening. Experience
• Previous experience in a daycare or childcare setting is preferred.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Ability to implement behavior management techniques effectively.
