Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Childcare Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves implementing engaging lesson plans, following curriculum, and supporting the developmental needs of children aged 3 to 5 years. At All Star Learning Academy, we are not just Daycare workers, we strive to be Early Childhood Educators in our Preschool Environment. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promotes literacy, math, and physical education. Follow lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning styles of students. Manage classroom activities and maintain a positive learning environment. Provide individualized support for children with special needs through early intervention strategies. Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning. Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly. Communicate effectively with management and parents regarding student's development and classroom activities. Collaborate with other educators to enhance the educational experience for all students. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment that promotes child welfare. Experience - While we are always willing and able to train the right candidate, the following experience is a plus for this position: College degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred. Proven experience working with children in a preschool or childcare setting. Familiarity with Montessori methods or other educational philosophies is a plus. Strong skills in behavior management and classroom management techniques. Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and assessments is desirable. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices is essential.
