Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Toddler Teacher to join our 3 Year old classroom team. In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of engaging, age-appropriate curriculum tailored to toddlers' unique needs. Your enthusiasm and expertise will foster a nurturing environment that promotes early childhood development, literacy, social skills, and emotional well-being. As a leader in the classroom, you will inspire both children and fellow educators to achieve their full potential while ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating space for every young learner. Duties Design and execute dynamic lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development principles, early intervention strategies, and Montessori methods to support toddler growth. Lead daily classroom activities focused on toddler care, behavior management, and childhood development milestones. Monitor individual progress through observations, assessments, and standardized testing to tailor educational approaches effectively. Manage classroom routines with excellent classroom management skills to ensure a safe, organized, and engaging environment. Collaborate with parents and caregivers through clear communication about children's progress, developmental goals, and classroom events. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or student teachers to uphold high standards of childcare and education quality. Maintain compliance with childcare regulations, health and safety standards, and best practices in preschool experience settings. Skills Extensive knowledge of early childhood education theories including Montessori methods and literacy education techniques. Proven experience working with children in daycare or preschool environments with a focus on toddlers. Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management tailored for early learners. Expertise in behavior management strategies suitable for toddlers to promote positive social interactions. Ability to implement special education strategies and early intervention programs for diverse learning needs. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, staff, and community partners effectively. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures related to childhood development assessments. Demonstrated leadership skills in guiding classroom activities while fostering a nurturing environment focused on child welfare. Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
