The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality educational experiences that promote early literacy, math skills, and physical education while catering to the diverse needs of all students. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment where children feel valued and respected. Teach foundational skills through interactive activities, play and using the Montessori method. Assess children's progress through different evaluation methods and observations. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities. Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom setting. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum planning and implementation. Supervise children during playtime and other activities, ensuring their safety and well-being. Experience A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred but not required. Experience working in a preschool setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with English language and Spanish is a plus. Good communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and staff members. Experience in toddler care is advantageous, but willing to train the right person.
