KinderCare is seeking a Specialized Pre K Lead Teacher for our Village Boulevard KinderCare center. In this role, you will design and lead an engaging, developmentally appropriate Pre-K curriculum that prepares children for kindergarten. You will create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom, guide children's social-emotional and academic growth, and regularly assess and document progress. You'll partner closely with families, collaborate with a supportive teaching team, and embody KinderCare's culture of diversity, continuous learning, and child-centered care. Responsibilities Lead a specialized Pre-K classroom, ensuring a safe, nurturing learning environment. Design and implement developmentally appropriate, standards-aligned lesson plans. Observe, assess, and document children's progress to inform instruction. Communicate regularly with families about child development and classroom activities. Collaborate with center staff to support inclusive, culturally responsive practices. Maintain classroom organization, routines, and behavior guidance systems. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations. Support and mentor assistant teachers and classroom support staff. Adapt instruction for diverse learning needs and developmental levels. Participate in professional development and continuous improvement efforts.
