Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes literacy, math, physical education, and social skills Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management strategies Plan and execute daily lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards and developmental milestones Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children from toddlers to preschool age Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and developmental needs Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare regulations Incorporate special education techniques and early intervention strategies to support diverse learning needs Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor developmental progress Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, classroom management, and child development instruction Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, and incident documentation Qualifications Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention techniques Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management Familiarity with special education practices and behavior management strategies Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in childhood education or early childhood development are preferred Excellent communication skills for effective parent communication and team collaboration Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs across various age groups including toddlers and preschoolers Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare is essential Experience teaching physical education or incorporating movement into lessons is a plus Join us in shaping the future by nurturing curious minds!
