Hours Include:

Qualifications:

DCF 45 hours of training (Child Care Facility Part I, Part II, Early Literacy, Safe Sleep, and Transportation Safety). Safe Sleep first 30 days of employment, the remainder of the courses within nine months. Child Development Associate Credential (CCP/CDA) Proven experience in childcare/teaching

Special Requirements and Physical Demands:

Regular to frequent requirement, and as needed, to lift children (up to 75 lbs.), including bending, stooping, stretching, squatting, pushing and pulling, and sitting and walking multiple times daily. You can handle noise levels from moderate to loud. Complete the National Background Check Program for Florida and any out-of-state background checks. There are more requirements for the job, but we'd love to get to know you as we walk through those together.

Daily Responsibilities Include:

Developing and implementing a developmentally based educational program for an assigned class of school children. Oversee our curriculum program in our Preschool and Early Preschool rooms. Collaborate with our assistant teachers to prepare children for school academically and socially by using age-appropriate lesson plans, selecting effective developmental materials for the classroom, and utilizing positive behavior reinforcement.
