Job Description

Forty Carrots Preschool is seeking a caring and dedicated Early Childhood Educator. Our NAEYC accredited program has low student-to-teacher ratio and a commitment to individualized curiosity, care, and respect. Using developmentally appropriate practices and play-based activities, our Preschool Educators promote learning and growth in the areas of social, emotional, physical, language literacy, science technology, mathematics, social studies, and the arts. Our Preschool Educators employ innovative, creative approaches to learning that stimulate higher level analytical thinking and cognitive abilities, while also ensuring a safe and nurturing environment where children can explore their curiosity and talents and expand their awareness and abilities. This full-time, benefits eligible, teaching position requires a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field, or sufficient ECE coursework and credits to meet NAEYC accreditation requirements. Level 2 Background Screening is a condition of employment per Chapter 435.12 Florida Statues (For information see https://info.flclearinghouse.com). Florida DCF Child Care Personnel Training must be completed within 90 days of hire. Knowledge of Creative Curriculum is helpful but not required. Pay ranges from $22.00 to $25.00 per hour based on education and experience.
