The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development and experience working with preschool-aged children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters a love for learning, while implementing effective teaching strategies in literacy, math, and physical education. The Teacher will also be responsible for developing engaging curriculum that aligns with developmental milestones. Duties Develop and implement lesson plans that promote literacy education, math skills, and physical education. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed. Create age-appropriate activities that support childhood development and learning objectives. Collaborate with other educators to enhance curriculum development and share best practices. Maintain a safe and organized classroom setting, ensuring all materials are accessible to students. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships within the school community. Support students' social-emotional growth through positive reinforcement and guidance. Qualifications Mandated DCF 45 hours or Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred. Experience working with preschool-aged children in daycare or educational settings. Knowledge of childhood development principles is a plus. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles. Passion for teaching and commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
