PART-TIME AFTERCARE TEACHER - IMMEDIATE OPENING
American Eagle Academy Preschool in Tamarac is hiring a dependable, energetic, and caring Aftercare Teacher to join our team immediately.Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM-6:00PM Pay:
$15.00-$17.00 per hour, based on experienceHours:
Approximately 17.5 hours per weekStart:
ASAP This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with school-age children and is looking for consistent afternoon hours.Responsibilities:
Supervise school-age children in a safe and positive environment Assist with homework and reading when needed Lead fun activities, games, arts & crafts, and outdoor play Supervise snack time and afternoon dismissal Use positive classroom and behavior-management techniques Maintain an organized and clean aftercare area Communicate professionally with parents and staff Follow all school safety and supervision proceduresQualifications:
Experience working with children preferred Dependable, punctual, patient, and energetic Comfortable supervising a group of school-age children Good communication and teamwork skills Must be available Monday-Friday from 2:30 PM-6:00 PM Must meet Florida childcare background-screening requirements CPR/First Aid preferred or willingness to obtain if required We are hiring immediately.
