- Full-time Early childcare center in Tamarac is looking for Full Time Lead VPK Teacher to start immediately.

Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (at minimum CDA or CDAE) or a related field.PREFERRED 40
hours Department of Children and Families requirements. And any other classes DCF might require. Verified Summer VPK Credentials as per ELC requirements.PREFERRED
CDA and/or Staff Credential from Department of Education, State of Florida, Tallahassee Minimum one-year minimum experience in the industry Speaks English. Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written English Bilingual in Spanish is a BIG plus Has completed 45 hours ELC minimum requirements or is in the process of completing them CPR / First Aid Training certification What you will be doing: This position requires a passion for education and the flexibility to learn new methodologies in early childhood education. The Lead Teacher must have an open mind to understand and implement strategies that use thinking as a methodological tool, among others. The Lead Teacher is responsible for lesson planning, curriculum instruction, and implementation of developmental activities, specialized programs, etc. according to the age group assigned. The Lead Teacher will document activities and keep a record of the developmental progress of the children. She/he will maintain open communication with the parents of the children ensuring proper customer service while addressing the families' needs. The Lead Teacher maintains records, cleanliness, and orderliness of the classroom. The Lead Teacher is responsible for nurturing care, hygiene, learning, and discipline of the children under his/her care with the support of the Teacher Assistant. The Lead Teacher works together with the Teacher Assistant to ensure proper group behavior, classroom management, and facilitation of all learning activities throughout the day. The Lead Teacher will have the support and guidance of the School Director, Assistant Director, and a team of teachers from our VESS Network of educators belonging to our other South Florida locations, and including educators from an international network of schools who collaborate with each other to share experiences in the implementation of our unique VESS methodology.What we need:
