KinderCare is seeking a Before and After School Teacher for Whispering Oak Elementary School. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging environment for school-age children, leading activities that support academic, social, and emotional growth. Responsibilities include supervising students, facilitating homework help, planning age-appropriate lessons, and maintaining strong communication with families and school staff. You'll join a collaborative, inclusive team with opportunities for professional development and advancement while making a meaningful impact on children's daily lives. Responsibilities Supervise and ensure the safety of students during before and after school hours Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that support learning and social-emotional development Support homework and academic reinforcement for school-age children Maintain positive communication with families, school staff, and Kinder Care leadership Implement classroom management and positive behavior guidance strategies Maintain clean, organized learning spaces and ensure adherence to health and safety policies Document attendance, incidents, and child progress as required Collaborate with team members to support center-wide events and initiatives Required Skills Classroom management Lesson and activity planning Child supervision Behavior management/positive guidance Homework support/tutoring Parent and family communication Safety and emergency procedures Record keeping and documentation Collaboration with school staff Basic computer skills for attendance and reporting
