  • Full-time Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and passionate Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging classroom environment.
As a key leader in early childhood education, you will design and implement developmentally appropriate curricula that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. Your enthusiasm for working with children will help create a positive learning atmosphere where every child feels valued, supported, and excited to explore the world around them. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's early development while collaborating with dedicated staff and families. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and social-emotional learning Manage daily classroom activities, ensuring smooth transitions and effective behavior management strategies Assess individual student progress through observations, standardized testing, and formative assessments to tailor instruction accordingly Collaborate with families to support each child's unique needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides to maintain high-quality childcare standards Maintain accurate documentation of student development, attendance records, and incident reports in compliance with licensing requirements Requirements Proven experience in preschool or early childhood education with a strong background in classroom management and curriculum development Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and special education strategies A CDA or FCCPC with a VPK credential is required. Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and administrators Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate STEM concepts like math and science while fostering creativity through arts and play-based activities Experience working with diverse learners requiring early intervention or special accommodations Join us as a Preschool Lead Teacher to ignite young minds and nurture future explorers!
