Proven ability to manage classroom behavior positively while fostering a nurturing environment conducive to learning. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners effectively. Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention programs, and standardized testing procedures for young learners. Ability to plan engaging lessons that promote cognitive, social-emotional, and physical development aligned with childhood development principles. Certification in first aid and CPR; understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare. Experience working with diverse student populations including toddlers and children requiring additional support through special education or early intervention services.
