Lead 4-Year-Old Teacher ⭐️ Teddy Bears Learning Center - Zephyrhills, FL Do you love inspiring young children through hands-on learning, creativity, and play? Teddy Bears Learning Center is looking for a caring, energetic, and dependable Lead 4-Year-Old Teacher to join our team! As our Lead Teacher, you'll create a nurturing, engaging, and structured classroom where children can learn, explore, and grow while building the skills they need for future success.
Responsibilities include:
Creating and maintaining a safe, positive, and welcoming classroom environment. Implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and engaging daily activities that promote children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Building positive relationships with children, families, and fellow team members. Monitoring children's progress and communicating regularly with parents. Managing classroom routines and encouraging positive behavior through respectful guidance. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe classroom. Working collaboratively with administration and staff to ensure the highest quality of care and education.
Qualifications:
Must be able to pass a Level 2 Background Screening. Must have completed the Florida 45-Hour Child Care Training or be actively working toward completing it upon hire. High school diploma or equivalent required. Current CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Strong classroom management and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Dependable, professional, patient, and nurturing. A genuine passion for working with young children and early childhood education. Previous childcare experience is preferred but not required.
