In this role, you will provide attentive care, foster early childhood education, and create a positive atmosphere that encourages growth, learning, and happiness. Duties Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development Provide safe and nurturing care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive social interactions and emotional regulation Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices Support early childhood education by teaching basic skills, language development, and socialization techniques Maintain a clean, organized environment that adheres to health and safety standards Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress and any concerns Administer first aid when necessary and respond promptly to emergencies or incidents Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar caregiving roles Classroom experience in early childhood education or childhood development programs preferred Knowledge of behavior management techniques and childhood development milestones Certification in first aid and CPR required or willing to obtain upon hiring Willingness to obtain required hours mandated by the state of Georgia on a yearly basis Familiarity with toddler care, infant care, and preschool activities is highly valued Demonstrated ability to create a safe, nurturing environment that supports learning through play Candidate must be able to pass a criminal background check Join us in making a meaningful difference in children's lives!
