As part of our well-established center, you will work alongside an experienced and dedicated team that values collaboration, compassion, and a shared commitment to helping children thrive. In this role, you will help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where young children feel loved, supported, and encouraged to explore the world around them. Through hands-on activities, positive guidance, and daily routines, you will support each child's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development while building strong relationships with families and fellow educators. We are looking for someone who is passionate about caring for young children, enjoys working as part of a team, and wants to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and families. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that align with early childhood education standards, incorporating literacy, math, and physical education. Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and social interaction among children. Conduct assessments to monitor childhood development progress and tailor lesson plans to meet individual needs, including special education and early intervention strategies. Manage classroom activities efficiently through effective behavior management techniques and classroom management skills to foster positive behavior. Engage in ongoing communication with parents and guardians to share progress updates, address concerns, and collaborate on child welfare initiatives. Prepare and organize educational materials, lesson plans, and standardized testing resources to support student learning outcomes. Support toddlers' care routines, including feeding, diapering, and physical activity, ensuring safety and comfort at all times. Experience Prior classroom experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is essential. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development theories and practices related to early childhood education and Georgia DECAL regulations. Experience in curriculum development across various subjects such as literacy education, math, physical education, and child welfare programs. Proven ability to manage a classroom effectively while maintaining a positive learning environment. Strong communication skills to collaborate with colleagues, parents, and community partners effectively.
Pay:
From $19.00 per hour
