Responsibilities Provide a thoughtful and creative educational environment for children Track children's progress and report to parents Communicate with parents regularly to understand the children's needs Collaborate with other educators Maintain a clean and tidy classroom that is compliant with state health and safety standards Desired Skills Teaching experience Familiarity, understanding or willingness to learn the principles of child development and preschool educational methods Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms Excellent communication and instructional skills Patient, friendly and reliable First Aid and Pediatric CPR certified is a plus CDA, TCC, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree preferred or willingness to earn a early childhood credential
