  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Lead Toddler Infant Teacher with a credential such as a CDA, TCC or Degree in ECE to join our early childhood education team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and developmental growth. This role requires strong classroom management skills, a passion for teaching, and experience working with toddlers and infants. As a Lead Teacher, you will collaborate with staff to implement age-appropriate curriculum and ensure the well-being of every child in your care. Responsibilities Develop and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans tailored to toddlers and infants Provide attentive care, ensuring safety and comfort for all children Foster positive behavior management strategies to promote social skills and emotional regulation Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and daily experiences Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or classroom aides Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, Quality Rating and health & safety standards Create an inclusive environment that respects diverse backgrounds and needs Engage children in educational activities that promote early childhood development including language, motor skills, and cognitive growth Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is required Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific needs for infants and toddlers Experience with classroom management and behavior management techniques Background in early childhood education or related field preferred Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Previous nannying or babysitting experience demonstrating caregiving skills is valued This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young children's lives through nurturing care and engaging teaching practices.
