In this vital role, you will lead a dynamic classroom environment focused on early childhood education, fostering growth, curiosity, and social-emotional development in toddlers. Your passion for working with children and expertise in curriculum development will create a positive, engaging space where children thrive. As a leader in our educational community, you will collaborate with families and staff to ensure each child's needs are met with compassion, professionalism, and excellence. Qualifications Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a licensed childcare center. Strong knowledge of Georgia childcare licensing regulations and best practices in early childhood education. CPR and First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire). Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to successfully pass all required background checks and screenings. Duties and Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional learning tailored for toddlers. Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment aligned with early childhood education standards. Manage classroom routines, behavior management strategies, and individualized support plans for children requiring special education or early intervention services. Oversee lesson planning, assessment procedures, and documentation of each child's developmental progress. Mentor and supervise assistant teachers and support staff to maintain high-quality childcare and classroom management practices. Foster open communication with parents and guardians through regular updates regarding child welfare, developmental milestones, and classroom events. Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, health and safety protocols, and Bright Star Kids Academy policies. Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging learning environment that supports children's growth and development. Required Skills and Experience Extensive experience in classroom management within early childhood education settings, particularly toddler, preschool, or daycare environments. Strong knowledge of child development theories, behavior management techniques, and special education practices. Proficiency in curriculum development across multiple domains, including literacy, math, physical education, and hands-on learning experiences. Ability to create and implement engaging lesson plans that support developmental milestones. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with children, families, colleagues, and community partners. Experience working with children requiring early intervention services or special education accommodations. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage classroom operations while fostering a positive and supportive team environment. Why Join Us?
