The ideal candidate will oversee both the care and education of toddlers, including reading, interactive play, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment each day. Candidates should have experience working with toddlers, possess strong references, and be able to present credentials that reflect their dedication to high-quality childcare. Certifications such as CDA, First Aid, and CPR are considered advantageous but if the candidate does not possess the certificates, they must be willing to work towards receiving. Additionally, we aim to hire a childcare teacher to take on all responsibilities required to meet children's basic needs as well as follow all Bright From the Start guidelines. What You'll Do Duties include Providing a safe and nurturing environment Introducing children to new, age-appropriate educational activities Keeping Classroom clean including sanitizing all toys and play areas. Developing lesson plans and following schedules Keeping required training up to date Follow all guidelines set by Bright From the Start Designing creative activities to entertain children and aid in their intellectual development Encouraging positive interactions among children and staff at the daycare center Designing and implementing learning activities that stimulate a child's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social growth. Engage in Circle Time, Music, Arts, Crafts Requirements Proven experience working as a childcare teacher. Clear criminal background check. In-depth understanding of childhood development. Strong conflict resolution skills. Excellent communication skills. Attentive and patient. Must be able to lift thirty-five pounds. Nice To Haves CDA required or willing to work towards obtaining.
