Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Teacher to inspire and nurture young children in a dynamic early childhood education environment. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and educational space where children can explore, learn, and grow. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster a love of learning while supporting each child's developmental milestones. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills aligned with early childhood education standards. Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management strategies. Engage children in hands-on activities that support childhood development, including toddler care, preschool learning, and special education needs. Monitor and assess individual progress through observations and standardized testing to tailor instruction effectively. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones regularly. Manage classroom routines efficiently, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times while maintaining an organized learning space. Incorporate Montessori or other specialized teaching techniques to enhance early intervention efforts and literacy education. Qualifications Proven classroom management experience in early childhood settings or daycare environments. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies. Experience working with children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching physical education activities. Background in special education or early intervention programs is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and children. Certification in early childhood education or related fields preferred; Montessori training is a plus. Demonstrated commitment to child welfare, safety standards, and inclusive teaching practices.
