Job Description
Meet and Greet parents and children at arrival and departure of the day. Maintain a teaching environment for the children. Teaching basic skills, such as colors, shapes, letter recognition, personal hygiene, and social skills Observe and evaluate children's performance, behavior, social development, and physical health. Reach books to entire class or to small groups. Organize and lead activities designed to promote physical, mental, and social development, such as games, arts and crafts, music, and storytelling. Maintain a safe play environment. Dress children, change diapers, keep shoes tied, and faces clean. Observe and monitor children's play activities. Communicate with children's parents or guardians about daily activities, behaviors, and related issues. Sanitize toys and play equipment. Assist with preparing food and serving meals and refreshments to children. Be able to lift up to 50lbs. for diaper changing. Make sure the children are safe and washing hands regularly.
