Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for infants, fostering their growth and development through engaging activities and attentive caregiving. Your enthusiasm for working with young children will help lay the foundation for their future learning experiences while ensuring their well-being is always prioritized. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact during the earliest stages of a child's life. Duties Provide attentive care to infants, ensuring their safety, comfort, and emotional security at all times Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development in infants Monitor and document each child's developmental progress, communicating observations with parents and team members Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures and emergency response plans Collaborate with colleagues to create individualized care plans for children with special needs or disabilities Support parents with updates on their child's daily activities and developmental milestones Experience Prior experience working with infants in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers Classroom management skills to maintain a positive and structured environment Experience in providing care for children with special needs or disabilities is a plus Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in early childhood education or special education is advantageous Familiarity with behavior management techniques suitable for infants and toddlers Ability to work effectively with children, parents, and team members in a nurturing manner
Pay:
