LEAD INFANT TEACHER-CDA REQUIRED
We are seeking a dependable, Lead Infant Teacher with an active CDA credential to join our early learning team. This position is ideal for someone who understands that working with infants requires more than supervision. We are looking for a teacher who can provide a safe, nurturing, organized classroom while supporting each child's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION
Current CDA credential Previous experience working with infants in a licensed childcare center Ability to successfully complete all required background checks Knowledge of infant development and age appropriate learning activities Dependable attendance and punctuality Professional communication skills Ability to work effectively with parents. CPR/First Aid Certification or ability to obtain required certification Ability to meet all Georgia childcare licensing and training requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain active supervision of infants at all times Provide a warm, nurturing, safe, and clean classroom environment Follow infant feeding, diapering, sleeping, and individual care schedules Prepare and implement developmentally appropriate infant activities and lesson plans Encourage language, sensory, motor, social, and cognitive development Maintain accurate daily records for feeding, diapering, naps, activities, and other required information Communicate professionally with parents regarding their childs daily routine, development, and needs Maintain classroom organization, sanitation, and required documentation Follow safe sleep practice and all health and safety proceedures Follow center policies, licensing requirements and mandated reporter responsibilities Work cooperatively with assistant teachers and center leadership Help maintain a classroom that is consistently ready for parent tours and licensing visits
