Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Pre-K Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging classroom environment. In this vital role, you will lead a preschool classroom, designing and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum that promotes early childhood education, literacy, math, and social-emotional growth. Your dedication will ensure children develop essential skills through creative lesson planning, hands-on activities, and positive behavior management strategies. As a leader in early childhood education, you will collaborate with families and staff to support each child's unique developmental journey, creating a safe and stimulating space where curiosity thrives. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards. Create engaging lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and sensory activities to support holistic childhood development. Manage classroom activities to foster a positive learning environment that encourages exploration, independence, and social skills. Utilize effective behavior management techniques to promote respectful interactions and emotional regulation among children. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address concerns, and support home learning initiatives. Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention practices to meet the diverse needs of all students. Maintain accurate documentation of children's developmental milestones, assessments, and standardized testing results as required. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, with a minimum of one year classroom management experience. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across various domains including literacy education, math, physical education, and childcare best practices. Familiarity with multiple methods of early childhood pedagogies is preferred. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Ability to plan lessons that are creative, inclusive, and tailored to individual student needs. Certification in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable; ongoing professional development in special education or toddler care is a plus.
