Monday-Friday, 30-35 hours per week
Pay Rate:
$10.00-$12.00 per hour Compensation is based on education, experience, and qualifications. Responsibilities Provide a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered learning environment for toddlers. Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and classroom activities. Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and spiritual development. Maintain daily communication with families through ProCare . Complete daily classroom documentation, observations, and incident reports. Maintain a clean, organized classroom while following all Bright from the Start health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Follow proper diapering, supervision, and classroom management procedures. Work collaboratively with administration and fellow teachers to create a positive team environment. Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and required trainings. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED (Required) Child Development Associate (CDA) credential preferred or willingness to obtain Minimum of 2 years of experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare setting Knowledge of Georgia Bright from the Start regulations Excellent communication and classroom management skills Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and actively engage with children throughout the day Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain) Preferred Qualities Passion for early childhood education Loving, patient, and nurturing personality Dependable and punctual Professional appearance and strong work ethic Positive attitude and team player Commitment to providing exceptional care and education in a Christian environment About MOELC At Mt.
