Job Description
The Assistant Director plays a pivotal role in supporting the overall administration and strategic direction of the educational institution. This position involves collaborating with the Director to implement policies, manage budgets, and enhance educational programs. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment while ensuring that the institution meets its educational goals. Responsibilities Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure effective education administration and support student success. Educate staff on best practices in education administration and provide training as necessary. Lead various committees and projects aimed at improving institutional effectiveness. Foster a collaborative environment among faculty, staff, and students to promote a culture of excellence. Skills Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record in education administration. Excellent strategic planning skills to align departmental goals with institutional objectives. Experience in budgeting and financial management within an educational context. Ability to educate and mentor staff, fostering professional development opportunities. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information across various stakeholders. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. This role is essential for driving the mission of the institution forward, ensuring that all educational programs are delivered effectively while maintaining high standards of excellence. At this time, due to the current Georgia licensing requirements, we will need someone who is portable and able to provide the required documentation upon hire.
