Job Summary We are seeking energetic and dedicated Assistant Teachers to join our team in caring for 2- and 3-year-old children on a full-time basis. In this vital role, you will support classroom activities, foster positive learning experiences, and promote the social, emotional, and developmental growth of young learners. Responsibilities Assist in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, and curriculum development. Support classroom management by maintaining a positive environment that encourages curiosity and respect among children. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote social skills, motor development, and early learning concepts. Foster effective communication with children, parents, and team members to ensure a collaborative approach to childcare. Support behavior management strategies to guide children's social interactions and emotional regulation. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to safety and health regulations. Contribute to ongoing classroom assessments and documentation of each child's progress. Requirements Prior experience working with toddlers or in early childhood education settings is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles, including Montessori or preschool methodologies. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to plan engaging lessons focused on literacy education, math concepts, and overall curriculum development. Experience working with children with disabilities or autism is a plus. Demonstrated classroom management skills with an emphasis on behavior management techniques. Must be able to work full-time hours in a dynamic childcare environment.
