Duties Lead and facilitate a Montessori toddler classroom, implementing developmentally appropriate activities aligned with Montessori principles. Develop and adapt curriculum plans that support literacy education, math skills, physical development, and social-emotional learning tailored to toddler needs. Manage daily classroom routines, including diapering, potty training support, and age-appropriate activities that promote independence and motor skills. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any behavioral or developmental concerns. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of child development observations and incident reports. Foster a positive classroom environment through behavior management strategies that encourage respectful interactions and emotional regulation. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards including first aid and CPR certifications. Experience Demonstrated experience working with young children in educational or childcare settings, preferably within Montessori or preschool environments. Strong background in child development instruction, early intervention strategies, special education practices, and childhood welfare. Proven ability to develop engaging lesson plans focused on literacy education, math concepts, physical activity, and social skills for toddlers. Familiarity with classroom management techniques that promote positive behavior and effective communication skills with children and families. Experience teaching physical education or movement-based activities suitable for early childhood learners. Knowledge of standardized testing procedures related to early childhood assessment is advantageous. Prior experience working in private schools or similar educational institutions is preferred but not required; passion for early childhood education is essential.
